For several years, Dr. Apolonio S. Sito served as the Executive Director of the National Apiculture Research, Training and Development Institute (NARTDI). At 64, he had decided to file his withdrawal of service. With the University Presidents approval to Dr. Sito’s request of relieve on November 18, 2013 and retirement of December 31 of the same year, NARTDI somehow, was saddened for the exit o the longtime Head of Office. However, as we say, it’s always a part of life to accept the reality that there are always times for someone to leave but of course, another will certainly come.
By the virtue 0f Special Order No. 2013 – 016 from the Office of the DMMMSU President, Atty. Benjamin P. Sapitula, Dr. Jaime C. Dangle, NARTDI Division Chief of Research and Development was designated as the new Executive Director of the Institute effective December 01, 2013 until April 15, 2015.
Dr. Dangle who is now on his 35th year of government service started working at NARTDI in the year 1999 as the Head for Planning, Research and Development. With His commitment at work and admirable performance not just as an employee but also a friend, he was other greater responsibilities which he had succeeded and contributed a lot to the primary goal of the Institute, to promote and develop the apiculture industry in the country.
Dr. Dangle turned 60 last November 12, 2013 and the Special Order of his appointment was disseminated on the 14th, this we believe, is one among the so many gifts God to a person who deserves more than any material thing.
The outgoing Director will leave NARTDI and DMMMSU with numerous accomplishments that without any thought, had made a lot of difference to the lives of his fellowmen especially the beekeepers who are the prime clienteles of the Institute. With this, everyone is in high hope for the incoming Director’s administration. He effortlessly , he exudes the characteristics of a leader who can definitely contribute a lot not just in the field he had practiced but also in other facets of life like being a father and a friend to everyone.
